Reflecting on class discussions as well as our readings, three things come to mind that could help facilitate effective organizational change:
- Clearly communicating the motivation for change
- Having an appreciation for diverse mental models
No doubt, change is not easy, however, I have come to realize that we make it even much more harder when we fail to have a safe-space to constructively challenge proposed changes that would inevitably affect various stakeholders (e.g. employees, customers, the community, etc.).
